Twenty-Five Baptized!
Twenty-five people were baptized Sunday evening, August 28, at Willow Grove in Longview. What a great time of celebration, fellowship and BBQ!
CE Kickoff Brunch 10 a.m.
Sunday, Sept. 11, is the Kickoff Brunch for Fall Christian Education classes. Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m., between services, for cinnamon rolls, eggs, and fruit. Kids will enjoy the human soccer balls! Get information about our Fall CE Classes (all ages) starting the following Sunday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m.
Summer Life Journals And Reading List
Each season we put together a list of daily scripture readings to facilitate your personal journey of discipleship. In coordination with our sermon series this spring we are going to focus our daily readings on the book of Acts. The readings for each day are intentional short so that you have space to reflect and meditate on the word. Camp Attitude Summer Mission Trip
We’re returning to Camp Attitude July 9-15, 2016! The 100%-volunteer-run camp in Foster, Oregon, was established in 2000, and serves special-needs children and their families. High school students will be “buddied up” with a special-needs kid during the day, helping with activities and having fun. Adult participants will partner on work projects to support the ongoing work of the camp. Families help as support staff with behind-the-scenes service. Support the team in prayer, in finances, or just cheering us on!
Vacation Bible School Registration Begins
Kids entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade will want to experience “CAVE QUEST” – a week of Vacation Bible School (VBS), July 20-24, 2016. With a focus on “Following Jesus, the Light of the World”, the 9AM-Noon experience will include crafts, music, refreshments, Bible stories, recreation and more. Parents can register their children here.

Winter Reading List And Life Journals
Each quarter we provide a scripture reading schedule to encourage the development of your personal spiritual formation. We alternate between the New Testament and Old Testament each quarter and read the Psalms in the summer. Over the next few years we will end up reading the entire Old Testament once, the New Testament twice and the Psalms twice.
