Longview Community Church operates a Lay Counseling Center. Members of our congregation are trained and supervised by a professional psychologist to provide counseling assistance for persons and families in need of help.
The counseling takes place in individual, couples’, and group sessions in an accepting atmosphere where each person’s uniqueness is valued.
Counseling is available and open to any adult in the community as well as in the church. When appropriate, we provide careful, thoughtful referrals to professionals in the community.
No charge is made for this service, as the cost is underwritten by the missions committee of Longview Community Church.
