COVID-19 Update 3/24

COVID-19 Update 3/24

Good Morning LvCC Friends and Families-

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” Psalms 121:1-2

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. There we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea” Psalm 46:1-2

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, I want us to be ever mindful of who we look to for our help and strength. Many of the Psalms remind us, no matter how desperate our situation, God is there.  So please continue to seek the Lord for comfort, peace, and shelter.

With the new “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order from Gov. Inslee, I wanted to communicate what we are doing at LvCC to do our part.

Church Office will be closed, but the staff will be working remotely from home. The church phone will be redirected to one of our staff members who will be able to assist you.  You can also contact us via email or Facebook. All church events: gatherings, meetings, and programs are postponed.  We are looking into hosting virtual events on Zoom (which is an online video conferencing tool).

Pastoral Support is available from one of our pastors. We will gladly set up an appointment to speak to you on the phone or over video chat during this time.

Deacons are available to serve and support you. If you need food, medicine, or basic necessities our deacons will do their best to accommodate those needs. Please call the office to make arrangements.

Worship for the foreseeable future will be gathering on Facebook Live at 9:30am Sunday mornings. Please contact the office if you need help understanding how to access the worship service.

Giving can be done online by accessing our website or you can send a check into the office. I am encouraged by the several phone calls inquiring about their tithes.  Even though the church building is temporarily closed, the ministry and missions continue, and even more so now.  Thank you for your continuous financial support of LvCCs missions and ministries.

As always, we will continue to be faithful and serve the Lord Jesus Christ!  We are also here to support, encourage, and love you, the LvCC congregation. And finally, we will continue to serve, provide, and reach out to those in our local community, county and region with the gospel.

I thank you and appreciate all the encouraging words and messages you have passed on to me and the staff.  It is a great pleasure to pastor you, minister with you, and serve with you!

May God Bless you and Keep you!

Dave Hendrickson
