The next Men’s Breakfast will be on October 17 from 7-9am in the Fellowship Hall. This is a regular event on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Start your morning with food and fellowship. There will be no breakfast in September due to the Men’s Retreat the same weekend.

Children in grades pre-k through 5th grade will be dismissed to Community Kids classes during the worship service.  Nursery is also available for children 2 years and younger during the entire service. Parents please remember to check-in your child(ren) using the kiosk in the Lobby. Guests may also check-in children without creating a permanent profile, unless they choose to do so. Each child will receive a nametag label, and the parent receives a corresponding label for secure pick up. If you are interested in volunteering on a monthly or 6- week basis, please let Sarah Fix know! It would be great to have some new faces come to see what Community Kids is all about!

Save the Dates: Jan 29-31, 2027, for the 2027 Marriage Retreat, hosted again at the beautiful and historic Beachfront property of the Cannon Beach Conference Center. Couples will enjoy comfortable lodging, three delicious meals, worship, and a thoughtfully designed program—along with plenty of free time to relax, explore, and connect with one another. The event starts Friday evening and ends with morning worship and communion on Sunday. More details and registration information will be coming in the Fall. While our core leadership team is already in place, we warmly welcome additional hands and hearts. If you’re interested in helping with planning, fundraising, hospitality, music, speaker connections, or would like to contribute to the scholarship/childcare fund to make the retreat more accessible—especially for newer
couples—please contact Patty in the main office as soon as possible, or Steve Meharg at stevemeharg@gmail.com.

Do you have musical or technical abilities that you would like to use to serve the Lord? We would love to chat with you about possibly getting involved with serving on the worship or tech teams! Please contact Patty Howland in the Church Office for more information.

If you would like to contact the Elders with questions or concerns, or to set up a meeting to talk, you may email them at elders@longviewcommunitychurch.org and they will be in contact with you.

We have a new mass texting program called Clearstream that we will be using for occasional reminders, registrations, or important announcements (such as weather-related closures).  If you are not currently on the Weekly Announcements email list, which is also used for texts, but would like to be added, please use the Connect Card to provide your information.

The Connection Card in the pew is for you to use to share or update your contact info, request information, or list a prayer request. You may fill out a card and place it in the offering plate, or drop it by the Welcome Center on your way out. You may also click here if you prefer digital Connect Card. Guests are encouraged to stop by the Welcome Center to receive a gift!
