Prayer Guide

On September 19-20 we are hosting a 24 hour prayer vigil accompanied by a day of fasting.  The purpose is to create space to listen to God and seek his guidance in our personal and corporate life together.  Many have signed up for an hour of prayer in the chapel.  If you cannot make it to the chapel but would like to commit to an hour of prayer you can download a prayer guide here. Prayer Vigil Guide

Daily Scripture Meditation Summer 2017

This summer we will be preaching on Jesus’ invitation to live a life of abundance (John 10:10). To help you go deeper we have provided a daily reading schedule that leads you through the gospel of John. Survey Review Underway

Our church leadership is grateful for an excellent response to our recent church health CHAT Survey. We are currently in data-overload, reviewing information, comments and trends, for use in refining our strategic plan documents and pastoral search efforts. We are listening well, focusing on our strengths, and increasing awareness of opportunities for improvement. Thank you for your good input and patience as we work through the data.

Our church leadership is about to engage in a listening exercise provided by Leadership Transformations, Inc.  From February 19, 2017 to March 20, 2017, we’ll be conducting an all-church survey called the Church Health Assessment Tool (CHATSM).   This web-based survey will allow us to collect valuable feedback from both the congregation and the leadership team regarding their views on our church health.  This tool is based on the “10 Traits of Vital Ministry” from the book Becoming a Healthy…

Advent Season

Safety Matters!

The Safety Committee reminds you that our new door policy is now in effect. The main office door is the new point of entrance for the Education Wing. Sanctuary doors will remain unchanged, and the Museum entrance door will be open for program and events. The remaining CE wing doors are now “Exits Only”. Thank you for helping us keep Longview Community Church a place of safety.
