Current Events as of 7/28/2008

The purpose of the Senior Adults Mnistries is to build relationships and provide active programs within the senior adult segment of our church.  This ministry aims to provide a focus on continued growth in faith and participation in the life of the church.  It also aims to provide a resource for seniors who are in need of support, encouragement and advice. Finally, this ministry hopes to provide the stimulation for seniors to become mentors to the younger members of our congregation.

MONTHLY PINOCHLE PARTIES

The interest in senior adults playing pinochle is growing, and they will now be held on a monthly basis. So be sure to mark your calendar. Normally we will be holding the parties on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30-8:30 in the Fellowship Hall below Gebert Chapel. The next one is July 31st.

Put the times down, and plan to attend. Be sure to bring a snack with you, along with a 50 cent donation to cover the cost of prizes.

Plan to attend our "Movie a Month" program in Gebert Chapel the second Tuesday of each month at 2:30 PM.  Each time a special film will be shown and discussed that will be entertaining, informative, and often insprational.  Popcorn  and bottled water will be served as a treat.  Every senior adult is invited.

Plan now to join us for fun and fellowship.

Old Fashioned Hymn Sing

Enjoy a sing-along time on the third Saturday at 3:00PM in the Fireside Room.  Join us for some favoirte hymns, fun, fellowship and good food!
